DOUBLE DOOR REFRIGERATOR UPDATE (model number BS28200)
Consumers who have had their double door refrigerator repaired under this recall should turn the refrigerator off immediately and do not use.
Consumers with affected refrigerators should contact Electrolux for a refund or replacement.
This update is for all consumers who have had their affected double door refrigerator repaired, including the double-door refrigerators repaired before 6 March 2023. Repairs of the refrigerator under this recall were stopped on 16 November 2023.

Model Numbers: BS28200 & BS28130.
Serial Number ranges: 72900000 to 95299999, and 00100000 to 04599999 only.

Defect: Water can penetrate the sealed electrical control board located on the rear of the refrigerator.
Hazard: The refrigerator may cause a fire, posing a risk of injuries and damage to property. The defect has caused fires in double door units, including repaired units, resulting in property damage and injuries.
What to do: Turn the refrigerator off immediately and unplug it from the electricity supply. Contact Electrolux to arrange for the choice of a refund or replacement product.
