You don't need a campfire to make these ones! Kids and adults alike will enjoy these gooey and delicious Salted Caramel S'mores, providing a playful way to serve and share.
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 + 3/4 cup wholemeal flour
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sea-salt flakes
  • 12 chocolate squares
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1 cup salted dulce de leche


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C. 
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar, molasses, and honey in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
  3. Beat until fluffy for 3-4 minutes on medium-high speed. 
  4. Add flours, cinnamon and salt, and beat for 1 minute on low speed until just combined.
  5. Roll dough out on a floured work surface to about 1-2 centimetres thickness and prick all-over using a fork.
  6. Cut into 24 even squares and carefully arrange dough squares on baking sheets lined with baking paper. 
  7. Bake in preheated oven until edges turn brown for 15-20 minutes, rotating baking sheets between top and bottom racks halfway through bake time. 
  8. Let cool completely on baking sheets.

  3. Place chocolate square onto one biscuit, top with hot marshmallow, caramel sauce and another biscuit to serve immediately.
